MOBE TEAM

Below is the full staff listing of Boston Mobilization as well as the Board of Directors as of Summer 2007.

STAFF

Ayanna Parris,

Youth Empowerment Project (YEP) Coordinator, began working with Boston Mobilization as an intern in February 2007.  She is a young woman who believes education and activism are two sides of the same coin. Before joining Boston Mobilization she taught black history in coastal Tanzania and did research on community building through hip-hop. She works on a number of issues, but is especially committed to helping youth engage their global community.

Tai Jun Davis,
Grassroots Media Coordinator, began his work for Boston Mobilization in June of this year. He is currently one of the Arts Project Coordinators for Voices of Liberation and serves as the Webmaster for both Voices of Liberation and Jericho Boston. Both a community organizer and local hip-hop artist Tai Jun has worked in Roxbury and the South End to promote awareness about social issues affecting youth and people of color today.


Christopher Messinger,
Sub/Urban Justice Coordinator. Christopher lives in Cambridge and has experience as a BPS teacher and youth worker. Christopher works closely with young people who benefit from or are negatively impacted by systems of oppression and interested in organizing to transform these systems and their communities in a positive direction.
